Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Boxy Statement Necklace – Circa 1970

This beautiful circa 1970 Navajo sterling silver and turquoise necklace featuring a distinctive boxy station design leading to a striking crescent pendant. The natural turquoise stones display lovely color and matrix, set in handcrafted sterling silver with a rich patina. 

Center crescent measures 1 3/4” x 1” and rectangular accents measure 1 1/2” x 1/2”. Necklace measures 25” long and is adjustable, it weighs 71.7 grams, giving it a substantial and eye-catching presence when worn.

The necklace remains in beautiful vintage condition and is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece that would make a wonderful complementary addition to any vintage turquoise or Native American jewelry collection. This piece is unsigned but has been silver tested.

Provenance: This piece was originally purchased in the 1970s in Northern Arizona on the Navajo Nation by a friend’s grandmother and has remained carefully preserved since.
