Cowboy Hat Dangle Earrings

These cowboy hat earrings are a must!!! Upcycled from a vintage pair of Mexico Sterling silver earrings! Something new from something old!

The top of the earring is a sterling silver cowboy hat with turquoise & starburst accents. I've soldered on three links of sterling silver chain fringe. Sterling silver beads accent the bottom of each link.  These earrings measure 4" long and 1 1/4" at their widest point. These earrings have a post back with an ear nut back.

I've given these earrings a dark patina to expose the design and give it a more rustic/antique feel. Over time sterling will oxidize, clean with a polishing cloth to bring back luster and shine. The word Sterling is stamped on the back of the cowboy hat. Color may vary due to lighting and angles.
