The focal of this piece is the gorgeous Aurora Borealis Opals, a total of 38cts. The stones adorn the top of the solid sterling silver Longhorn cow skull. I've set the stones in serrated sterling bezel with sterling dot & cactus flower accents. The ring measures 2 1/4” from horn tip to tip by 2 1/8” from top to bottom. The band of the ring is a .925 sterling and measures 1/2" wide, stamped with a southwest design.

This ring is given a dark patina to expose the design and give it a more rustic/antique feel. Over time sterling will oxidize, clean with a polishing cloth to bring back luster and shine.
